How to move tickets across Workspaces for FreshService
In this article, we discuss how to move tickets between Workspaces in FreshService. In the example below, we are moving a Security ticket from the main IT Workspace to the 'Security / Legal' Workspace, for legal reivew. Although this process below is for the Security Team, this process will apply to any ticket that needs moved across Workspaces.
In the ticket, on the top right, you will see what workspace the ticket is in. In this example, a security ticket is in the ‘IT Team’ Workspace. We determine that this is a sensitive request and needs to be moved to the restricted group.

To move the ticket, click on the 3 dots on the top right corner next to ‘Close’ and select ‘Move’

In the ‘Move Ticket’ view, select the ‘IT Security / Legal Team’ Workspace, Select the ‘Confidential – Restricted Group’, and then Select the ‘Agent’

Now the ticket has been moved to the Security Workspace and is reflected under the Ticket Properties in the upper right corner of the ticket.

In the ‘All Tickets – Security Workspace’ queue, you will now see the ticket.
