How to reinstall Five9
Task: This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to reinstall the FIve9 extension and Five9 for the Web.
Use Case: This article is helpful when you are having any issues in Five9.
Prerequisites:
- Google Chrome
- A windows machine with Five9 installed
Steps:
In your regular windows screen, please click on the bottom left Windows search bar. There should be a magnifying glass.
Type in "Add or Remove Programs"

3. Click "Open", on the next screen please click into the "Search this list" box

4. Type in "Five9" then click on the "Five9 Softphone Service" app.

5. If you have not already, please close Five9. Then click on "Uninstall".
6. Go to Google Chrome
7. Click on the Puzzle Piece at the top, then click on "Manage extensions"

8. Click on the "Five9 Softphone Extension" then select "Remove"

9. Afterwards please go back to Five9, Agent, then try to sign in, it will prompt you to reinstall, please follow the steps there that are provided.
Expected Outcome:
After Five9 has been reinstalled you should have no more issues with it!
In case of failure, check these things:
Issue 1: Ensure you are using Google Chrome
Issue 2: Try restarting your computer
Issue 3: Make sure the account information you are using is up-to-date.
